So, his version of Lara Croft is dead, killed by him in the raid he led with Caspian and Amanda. He and Amanda lived happily together for a while, having many adventures, including finding the Methusulah Stone which has given him a limited type of immortality -- as long as he has the Stone, a fatal injury won't kill him; however, he can still be injured and he can still die from natural causes. he also did a deal with MI-6 who reinstated his citizenship and gave him a full pardon. Then one day Amanda faced another Immortal in battle, and while Terry was busy dealing with his cronies, Amanda lost. While the Immortal absorbed her Quickening, Terry got Amanda's sword and took his head.

Now, he's back, on his own and returning to his mercenary ways, knowing that the British government are always keeping tabs on him, in case they can use him again...or need a scapegoat. He is still the perfidious bastard he's always been.
